“Look what I found in Italy!” exclaimed our friend. “You’re not going to believe it,” he continued “after a lovely meal in Florence, I was heading toward Michelangelo’s David when on a cobblestone street, inside a little antiques store I spotted the twin to your dolphin table!” as he handed me his camera.
“LOOK! LOOK! Its almost identical, they could have been separated at birth!”
It was fun to compare the similarities – it was a more brutal, more muscular twin to my beloved dolphin table. But, what I found equally intriguing was the dapper, yet crusty Neptune-like character covered in shells and wearing a seaweed jacket that was sharing the display window with the Florentine dolphin. Where did he come from, who made him?
